Sculptures City Hall The Hague and the exposition at Hooghstate Museum, Haastrecht, NL

Especially for the show in the Atrium in the City Hall of The Hague this summer, Peter Gentenaar made a series of white sculptures.

He also continued his cooperation with' fashion' designer Peter George d’Angelino Tap.

The artists incorporated their crafts, paper and textile, which resulted in the white costumes on the gallery in the Atrium.

The sculptures are made with poured linen. To enable the fusion between the paper and the textile, the artists used lace sandwiched in-between the pulp. In turn, the lace becomes the ornamental layer over the garment that carries the paper construction.
